"I have practiced yoga myself for many, many years, & it has provided such a respite for me physically, mentally & emotionally from the daily circus of life. with 3 kids, a husband & two dogs, there is rarely a moment just for me. my own daily movement practice has given me that moment just for myself, to fill my own cup, to draw energy back inward, to find my own light so that I can show up more fully, more authentically for my family & others.
I really deeply felt the need that others also had for this grounding movement practice that I created for myself & that I relied on so fully to maintain my sanity in the busyness of these days. I truly believe that everyone deserves this same opportunity to develop & tap into a sense of both calm & strength in their day-to-day.
I completed my 200 Hour teacher training, then decided to dive deeper by studying further & completing Functional Human Movement, Yoga for Children & Yoga for Athletes training. I am constantly inspired by our yoga community & am always learning new ways to incorporate a mindful & creative way of thinking & moving into our daily lives.
My hope is to offer you a safe space that fosters a sense of community among our Tribe. My desire is to develop an experience that leaves you with a sense of belonging, that provides you with a way of moving & living that promotes your overall wellness.
I design my classes with the goal of giving you the opportunity to discover your own strengths, explore the freedom that movement provides you & help you find at least a moment or two to reconnect to yourself.
